Job description
We are looking for a full-time intern to join our Investor Relations (IR) team. The IR team plays a central role at Verdane, leading fundraising activities across all funds and managing relationships with our global investor base.
The team is organised into two highly collaborative sub-teams: Project Management and Coverage. The Project Management team, which you will be part of, consists of six professionals based in Stockholm, Munich, and London, and is responsible for preparing fundraising materials, coordinating due diligence processes, and managing investor communications and events.
Your responsibilities
As an intern, you will gain exposure to a broad range of Investor Relations activities and support the team across several key areas:
- Marketing Materials: Contribute to the design, preparation, and upkeep of marketing documents (e.g. teasers, pitch decks) as well as due diligence materials (qualitative and quantitative data)
- Due Diligence: Assist in drafting responses to due diligence questionnaires and help maintain the firm’s database of standard answers.
- Investor Communication: Support the preparation of written communications for investors, including updates on new investments, portfolio exits, and other key milestones.
- Events: Contribute to the preparation of materials and logistics for major investor events, such as the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and LP Advisory Committee (LPAC) meetings.
In addition, you will gain exposure to broader Investor Relations processes such as quarterly reporting, co-investment coordination, and ad-hoc investor requests, working closely with colleagues across the team.
Our corporate values
You will be a perfect fit if our corporate values resonate with you:
Get things done: We actively work to shorten decision making cycles, always completing our set tasks with quality. We prioritise what lies before us in order to ensure that everything we set out to accomplish is done well, rather than taking on too many things at once.
Dare to be different: We are bold in our thinking and challenge the status quo. We treasure differences of opinion and value complementary perspectives as we seek creative solutions to complex problems.
Love what we do: We are genuinely committed and passionately curious, entrepreneurial in spirit and deed – the best idea wins.
Respect people and the planet: We act with integrity and seek to build trust in all relations. We show responsibility and aspire to be on the right side of history, helping to move our industry towards more sustainable, long-term thinking.
You have a growth mindset, good communication skills, and a desire to work in an international environment. As a person, you collaborate well in a down-to-earth and value-based culture that is committed to building long-lasting relationships. You have a can-do attitude and enjoy working with people, but also enjoy solving challenges on your own.
Verdane is committed to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive working environment and we actively seek for qualified candidates regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, national origin, disability, or age.
Please note that applications are assessed on an ongoing basis and we encourage candidates to apply as soon as they feel ready.
