Job description
We are looking for an ambitious part-time Financial Controller Intern (20 %) with a strong drive. As an Intern at Verdane you will be a part of our finance department which currently has 13 members. The Department is organized in three segments: fund controlling, controlling, and accounting. The Financial Controller Intern will first and foremost be working closely with the controlling-team but should expect to be involved with other segments as well.
 
You will be involved in day-to-day controlling activities within an international growth equity investment firm. You will be working closely with experienced colleagues which will be contributing with academic development relevant for your studies. The ideal candidate is a smart and structured problem-solver who thrives well in an entrepreneurial environment.
Your responsibilities
  • Review expenses and approve invoices.
  • Support the payroll process.
  • Assist in the preparation and creation of quarterly financial reports.
  • Support the KYC team
  • Participate in various projects within the finance function
Your profile
  • Currently pursuing a degree in the fields of auditing or accounting, preferably on your 2nd or 3rd year in your degree.
  • Previus internships experience within relevant fields such as controlling or accounting is a plus
  • Beyond traditional tools like Excel we also expect interns to be comfortable leveraging AI-driven platforms for research, analysis, and productivity. Familiarity with modern data tools and a willingness to adopt emerging technologies are essential.
  • You are comfortable with written and spoken english and Swedish
